So this week’s prompt from Photo Friday is RED. Hope you enjoy these Mexican Hats!
I know I’ve posted this photo before but it’s the first thing I thought of, plus I was daydreaming of a road trip from which this was taken. Oh, I long to be on the road, traveling as far as our vehicle will take us. Some prefer to fly but I prefer to see everything up close and personal every stretch of the way to wherever I’m going. You never know what little flea market, (fruit stand, hole in the wall restaurant with the best food eva, little out of the way store full of little treasures…) you might find on your adventure. And the scenery is always lovely. Well, depending on what route you take or where you’re off to. Usually, there’s always eye candy to be found on every road trip.
For those of you who celebrate Independence Day, have a Happy 4th of July!!
Okay, so they’re not a bouquet but I still present you with flowers. This was taken in April when the blackberry brambles were blossoming beside the garden. Now, in June, they are poppin’ with juicy delicious blackberries! Speaking of berries, the girls and I went blueberry picking at a local farm a week ago and I snapped some pics. Perhaps I’ll post when there’s a “Berries” theme, or heck, perhaps I’ll post next week anyway.
Hope you like the flowers. Y’all have an inspired Friday! Yay — FRIDAY!!! 😉
And here’s another from 2012. “Winter Lawn” for another entry into the Weather challenge. Oh so wish it would snow again. February is our last chance for it. How I adore a winter wonderland and building snowman memories with my daughter.
I realize it’s been a while since I participated in a photo challenge but felt it was high time I get back in the show. Some of you will remember this one before but others may not have seen it and feel it’s a good one for this week’s challenge of “Weather.”
This was taken in my back yard in 2012. Hope you like it. You may know I have a thing for trees. I also have a thing for snow. Absolutely LOVES it! ;) At 25 degrees this cold winter morning, it feels like a nice chance for snow. Just walked Buddy and the lawn met us with a blanket of ice crystals. Lovely in the moonlight.
