Balancing Act

This eroded column of rock, appropriately named ‘Balanced Rock’, stands almost 130 feet tall in Arches National Park, Utah.

    1. I know, right?! Sad that some of the arches have fallen over the years, but it’s very cool watching other arches begin. We’ll have to go back in a few years and see if we can notice any differences. I wonder if that balancing rock will still be balanced. Erosion can be quite sad, and yet, sometimes a beautiful thing with what it creates.
