Sunday Post: Pleasure

A short and sweet one today, folks. Me soooo tired. But I had to get my photo in for the day, or it’s just not a complete day.  Plus, got my Sunday Post pic in.  Yea!  Two birds with a post.  Poor birds.

Now, y’all that know me can probably guess what I’d post for pleasure. Ya know how I feel ’bout my girls, and traveling.

The best of both. Mama and Hallie (my brace-faced beauty) bring me the most pleasure in life. Doesn’t matter what we’re doin’ as long as the three of us are together. They are my favorite place to be. This particular shot is just outside the BlueWater Grille in Chattanooga, TN, up the street from the TN Aquarium. Awesome restaurant! Awesome aquarium! I highly recommend BOTH.

I’m glad that boat is parked on the sidewalk and not on the water, ’cause it wouldn’t be on the water. The only thing missin’ is me. Three peas in a pod,…or in a boat, but that’s ok, I’ll hide behind the camera for the photo. 😉  I was actually gonna crop this pic, but I thought the parking meter was kind o’ cute.

If you’d like to join us in this entertaining weekly challenge, or see more amazing shots and interpretations, the 2012 Water Dragon Weekly Sunday Post is led by Jake:

Hope y’all had a fantastical and beautiful day.  I didn’t realize how late it was.  10pm here, and I’m off to bed.  Nighty night, y’all.  Love ya!

    1. Aw, thanks Judee. It’s always a fun trip. We love Chattanooga, TN, as well at Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and that area. We are planning another trip soon! They are pretty happy girls. I know they sure make me happy! They are my mashed potatoes. Everything else good in life is gravy. 😉

    1. I’ve missed out on several challenges with this new job takin’ so much of my free time. I’m not complain’, though. Thanks brother. 😉 I’m just doing the challenges I can make time for, but I’m not gonna wear myself out trying to do them all. *hug*

    1. Thanks Sophia. I could just eat ’em up. 😉

Have I ever told you that I love your name? Two of the most beautiful names = Sophia and Claudia. They just sound so rhythmic, like music rolling off the tongue. Also like the name Katherine. If I were ever to have another daughter (although it’s too late now, I’m sure, at 43), I’d name her Katherine, and probably call her Kate or Katie. I don’t know, it would be a tough choice between those 3. Sophia, Klaudia, Katherine. ‘K’ just so she could have her own initial. Besides, it’s a little different. I like different, but beautiful. Here I am, dreaming… 😉

      1. Oh, I would too..hehehe. No and thank you sweetie. That is so sweet of you. Katherine is a lovely name as well. I like different too..heheheh.
Yeah, let’s dream…it’s fun. Keeps us out of mischief. hee hee

  1. That is the picture of two happy camperettes in a little brick row boat. LOL. What a terrific shot. I don’t know how I missed this post before. I’m bad …. and backed up. 😦 Your Mom, Hallie, and you make quite the trio, Carol.

    1. tehe! Yeah, they’re pretty happy girls. Thanks, Marcy. Oh, I just posted this like a day or two ago. Girl, I’m backed up, too. I still haven’t made all the rounds, yet, to see everyone. Lots o’ peeps I gotta check in on. 😉 Love my babes. Might sound wierd, but I’d like to come back in another life and be a mom to my mom, plus Hallie again. I always want a life with Hallie in it, and my mom. Mama needs to know what it’s like to be raised as a treasured and adored and celebrated child, protected by tooth and nail, and have no doubt that she’s loved. She didn’t have the greatest childhood either. If I had the choice, that’s what my next life would be: Mama to mine, and to Hallie again. 😉

      1. I doubt you’d realize in another life that you mother was ever your mother to start with. I sometimes wonder if we indeed have had past lives, and if so, who we were, and if we were connected to any of the people in today’s world. It is definitely something to ponder. I hope for your sake, if there is such a thing as reincarnation, your dreams will come true and you’ll be aware … don’t you think that would be a little freaky, though? 😉 LOL.

      2. That’s true. I would just hope she got the mothering that she needed, because she didn’t in this life. I’ve often wondered if we’ve lived past lives, as well. I have deja vu a lot, and have a recurring dream of me visiting myself and was told to remember just one sentence. Wierd, right? I’ve also had dreams where I was told that some of us have lived many lives and some only live one, that the ones that are sent to live again missed a valuable lesson and we were sent back to get that right. I have strange dreams, but interesting, and these stick with me, mostly because I dream them again and again. I don’t know if we are connected to those we ‘were’ connected to before. Definitely something to think on. I don’t believe or disbelieve in reincarnation. I believe in the possibility. I think it would be super cool to remember that she was my mom in another life and to remember what she missed out on. I figure in this life, it’ll probably be similar somewhat to having her as my child, if she ever got to the point of not being able to care for herself. I’d take care of her and spoil her a little. Every person should be spoiled a little. 😉
