Photo Friday: Evening

Looking through Girl Scout photos from years past, I came across this one of Hallie at a Girl Scout Halloween Party (2007) where the girls were taking turns telling ghost stories.  She’s being silly, as usual.  Just looking at it makes me laugh.  She’s such a nut.  Although, lately, she’s just been downright testy.  Comes with being 13, I guess.  Ugh!

Oh well, there are good days and there are bad days.  As with anything and everything, I suppose.

Y’all have a most auspicious Tuesday.  And just a warning, some days in November may only be a photo for my blog, as I’m trying to do this NaNoWriMo thingy, so I have to type over 1,800 words per day.  I did 1,898 yesterday, which is great, but I’m behind today, so I’ll be playing catch up tomorrow.  Good luck with all you do!  And if you are participating in NaNoWriMo, let me know about it.  I know you are, Gerry, and I will be sending you a note tomorrow.  Good luck!  I know, as you have won in the past, you are doing an awesome job!  Love you guys!  *smooch*

Idaho.  Up close and personal.  In yo face!

I never met a mountain I did not love. A perfect day would be a fully stocked backpack, some good hiking boots, and to just trek this mountain all day long. Oh, and maybe a tranq gun. You never know what wild animal you’ll come in contact with.

I need another road trip to the mountains.

Hope y’all had a fab Friday!  I was just outside snappin’ the most awesome colorful stormy pics!  I may have to share tomorrow.  ;)  Y’all have a super Saturday!!  *hug*

Panama City Beach, Florida, July 2012

Photo Friday: Youngster

Hallie, Mama and I had been searching and searching for some great shells, especially sand dollars, with not much luck.  Still, it was fun looking for them.  Felt like we were on a treasure hunt.

While on vacation there, Hallie had been wanting her brows threaded, since I believe that’s the healthiest way to groom them, besides plucking, and we could not find one place in all of Panama City that held this service.  So, I told her that we’d take care of it when we got back home, since we have a couple of places that do offer the service. Hallie says, “I can do it myself.”  I said, “Om, no I don’t think so. You need someone trained at threading.”  To which she replies, “I watched a you tube video.  I’m qualified.”  ;)  Kids.  They’re a hoot.  I’ll have to add this to her Hallieisms.

Want another one?

So, we’re walkin’ through WalMart, getting our usual groceries, when we come to a price checker.  You know, those little machines where you can scan the barcode to see how much an item sells for?  She proceeds to run her hand under the scanner, and quips, “I’m priceless.”  Well, yes she is.  ;)

And, in case you were wondering, she’s like that every day.  ;)

Y’all go out there and make it a great day, k?  *squishy hug*
