Weekly Photo Challenge: Solitary

I am sure I have posted this one before, but it’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the theme for the week. This seagull looks so peaceful, sitting, waiting, resting.

If you’d like to join us in this entertaining weekly challenge, or see more amazing shots and interpretations, the Weekly Photo Challenge posts a new theme every Friday, and is led by The Daily Post. Check it:

Hope y’all had a truly wonderful day! Mine was SUPER busy, but a good day. Went by with the breeze. Have a restful evening.

Spread Your Wings and Fly!

Just felt encouraged about so many things as of late, and I wanted to share the encouragement.

If there is something you have been dreaming of doing and you’ve been putting it off, what’s stopping you? What’s stopping you from pursuing a dream? Why not try to make it a reality? What’s the worst that could happen? I’m not saying quit your day job… Not until things happen for you and you are making good money from your dream. But, hey, ya gotta start somewhere, so make a commitment to start today, or tomorrow, but don’t put it off longer than that. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and it’s ok to take baby steps, just as long as you are taking action, and making daily progress toward your goal(s).

What’s your dream?

Don’t be afraid to spread your wings. Open them up…and FLY!!!

Love you guys! *smooch* ;)

Wanna Surf?

This was one of our stops while vacationing in Panama City Beach, FL last month. The store was pretty cool. The dude coming out asked me (after I took the picture) if I wanted him to pose. He was kind o’ cute, so I got all flustered, and I was like, “Wha?” I tell ya, when it comes to cute guys, I go totally blonde in the brain! Why, I ask you?! ;)

Hope y’all are havin’ a fab Friday Eve! Oh, yeah! One more day, babeeeez!! Yee-ha! Oh, I guess that’s a Texas accent. Yee-haw! How’s that? Yeah, that’s more Mississippi. ;)

Love yooze guys! Now that’s not Mississippi at all. ;)

*squishy hug*
