I hope y’all don’t tire too easily of all my stormy shots. A stormy sky or evening sunset are my absolute faves, and it’s the sky shots that make me feel closer to God, especially the stormy ones. I suppose it’s because I think it’s beautiful the way the dark shades of the sky bring out the shades of green in the grass and trees, like nothing else. The colors become more alive, more vibrant with that stormy backdrop.
In the fragrance of the stormy air, I smell rain and freshness and it reminds me of God. A storm is strength and beauty. So is God. And I know that whatever storm comes my way, I will not only make it through, I will try to enjoy the adventure of making it through. Life is not always easy, but life is soooo very much worth living, and I’m so thankful to be alive. I didn’t always feel that way, but since having Hallie nearly 13 years ago, I LOVE life!!!
I wanted to take this opportunity to first of all, thank You, Lord, for answering so many of our prayers, for giving us so many opportunities, for sending us in better, more promising directions in our lives. We sometimes question you, and are angry with you, and lose a bit of our faith when troubling or confusing times come our way, but you understand us better than we do, and you continue to smile, because you know our hearts and what is best for us. Thank you for putting up with my moods and for loving me anyway and for blessing my life and making me rich with love.
Mama, Hallie, Jennefer, and my closest family and friends, thank you for putting up with me and loving me. I love ya so much it hurts and not one day goes by that I don’t stop, and drop, and thank the Coolest of Dudes for putting each one of you in my life.
Also, I want to thank you, dear friends out there in the blogosphere. Many of you have become members of my family and I truly cherish you. Please forgive me for not always being swift in answering comments. I know I’m still behind on accepting awards and visiting many of your blogs lately, especially since starting this job. I’m so far behind, I don’t think I’ll ever catch up, but I’m trying to fit so much in. Please be patient with me.
Work, chasing after Hallie, a dream of mine I’ve been working on the side, housework, cooking, commutes, etc. It’s overwhelming at times, and I just seem to try to go with the flow, although lately, I feel a bit dizzy and I’m trying to catch my breath. Too much going on and hopefully, things will settle a bit at the end of September. I can hope. But if not, I’m gonna make it.
Anyway, I know I’m rambling, but I wanted to stop and say thank you. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for visiting my blog, and getting to know me. Thank you for your comments and likes. You’ll never know what it means to me. I appreciate you more than you know.
God speed! Love ya! *big squishy hug*
If there is something you have been dreaming of doing and you’ve been putting it off, what’s stopping you? What’s stopping you from pursuing a dream? Why not try to make it a reality? What’s the worst that could happen? I’m not saying quit your day job… Not until things happen for you and you are making good money from your dream. But, hey, ya gotta start somewhere, so make a commitment to start today, or tomorrow, but don’t put it off longer than that. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and it’s ok to take baby steps, just as long as you are taking action, and making daily progress toward your goal(s).
What’s your dream?
Don’t be afraid to spread your wings. Open them up…and FLY!!!
Love you guys! *smooch*
