Looking through our shots from the Memphis Zoo (2008) and the seals are always great fun to watch. They love to entertain, it seems, like little playful children. We love ‘em!

Hallie, Mama and I spent the day at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Hallie received an invitation for an opportunity to have a one-on-one behind the scenes tour of the facility. We went a few years ago to an interactive open house kind of thing. Each visit here has been a fun, interesting and informative one.
She’s wanted to be a vet since about 2. Did you know what you wanted to be when you were 2? All I knew as far as what I wanted to be at 2, was a mother. No idea of what I wanted to do as a career.
One guess at what animals those skeletons belong to.
Hope y’all have had an awesome day. We are exhausted. Going to bed early. Yea! Watching Cupcake Wars on the Food Network, at the moment, with Hallie and Lilly. We LOVE the Food Network channel!!! Some of my favorite recipes have come from this channel. Love ya! *squishy hug*

A painting in Aqua The Day Spa at the Renaissance. I could not find the artist’s name but I find the art quite peaceful and calming. Don’t you? A good choice for the Quiet Room, I think.
I wish I could afford to go back to Aqua. I need a massage! I’ll have to break down and schedule something in July or August for sure. If you have never had a full body massage, I FULLY recommend. You will feel like jello for about a week and live on Cloud 9. The facials aren’t too bad, either.
Y’all go out and have yourselves a beauoooootiful Sunday. Try to not get too hot. It was a scorcher out there yesterday, but that Chai Tea Frappe made me feel all better. Nom nom.
Oh, and I apologize, since this pic was also taken with my ex (iphone) several months ago. My new Samsung Infuse takes much better, less grainy photos. Although, I prefer my digital cam.

My Hallie and Miss Lilly Margaret – they are smitten. Of course, Hallie is smitten with all our furbabes, but Lilly is probably her favorite. Shhhh. Don’t tell the others. I love Lilly but Buddy is my favorite. Shhhh. Don’t tell the others.
